Do you remember Sachiyo? Bytheway Shimai and I taught her on our missions. She was referred by her non-member sister who was attending BYU at the time. She went to USU after I returned from my mission and Dad baptized her and her sister Misaki in the Logan Tabernacle. She followed us to California and worked as an accountant and met her wonderful husband there. Misaki is on her way to Australia with her husband and boy. They are in the Air Force.
This week Sachiyo and her family visited us on their way to Ann Arbor, Michigan. They are moving from Yuma Az. Her husband Dan will go to law school there. Dan has been a helicopter pilot in the Marines. She has a wonderful family and I miss them already. Tate (5) is the oldest, Hana and Sion (2) are twins and Keri (8m) is the baby. It was a feel-good visit. I am so lucky. We ate katsudon and gyoza. We talked late. I tended all the kids while Sachiyo and Dan went to the temple. Dan took the boys hiking on the Butte and taught us fancy knot tying. I wished we lived closer.

God's tender mercies are given when you are able to see the culminating miracle of millions of small decisions and millions of answered prayers.

Here are the jedi knights and princess Leia saving Tatooine (Tate, Sadie and Davis). Yes, we did inherit a trampoline from a man moving from our ward. The boys agreed to trade the playstation for it. It was a deal. Our neighbor commented that it was a good investment because our kids play on it so much. We are lucky it was a hand-me down.
