Grandpa's Birthday

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Tonight everyone had a fun time at Grandpa's birthday dinner. Mom fixed fried chicken and potato salad for the Kurt Johnsons, the Bret Johnsons, the Nelsons, and Jay and Celia. Issac taught a new exciting game that had everyone laughing in stitiches, and not just because that was what we were supposed to do for Kurt's turn. The boys ended the night by ending up on the floor laughing for one turn and then in a dog pile after the evening was over.

Vacation Weekend

It's always a whirlwind weekend when the Nelsons come down. Issac and Porter came skiing with us and Grandpa on Friday. Then Friday night we had a birthday cake for Porter, had chili, and had a boys sleep over at our house. They did not do hair and nails, but played Nerf shootout and Wii all night. We're all looking forward to Grandpa's birthday tonight.

It was great spending a week with Carol & Denny earlier this month.
Mike made "Snappy Apple" creme brule on Sunday, January 11th, and we sang a rousing happy birthday song for Denny.

p.s. Max carried your "yellow birthday candle" all over the house on Tuesday, the day you left for UT. He kept saying, "Birthday? Gampa?". :)
